Dear Bruin Community:
UCLA Library has published our calendar of
Fall Quarter Research Workshops, designed to help you succeed with your papers, projects and other scholarly endeavors. Our selection of fall workshops showcase Library resources and encourage critical thinking about the research process.
Topics covered this quarter include citation management, arts research methodologies and finding government information and data. Workshops are open to all students interested in developing their research skills.
For additional foundational support for your academic journey,
Cornerstone Research Workshops help you with every stage of the research process, from developing a research question to presenting your work.
If you are interested in working with primary sources, I also encourage you to attend the
UCLA Library Special Collections Curatorial Open House on October 22. You will have the opportunity to view unique materials, learn about new acquisitions and speak with curators about incorporating archival and rare book collections to advance your research.
Please also visit our
research help page for information about research consultations and other services, tools and resources.
I wish you a successful fall quarter!
Sincerely,
Athena N. Jackson
